Dr. T. Sasipraba is a distinguished academic leader, researcher, and administrator with over three decades of experience in higher education. She began her career in 1995 as a Lecturer at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology and rose to become its Vice Chancellor in 2020 through consistent academic excellence and leadership. She holds a Ph.D., M.E. (4th Rank, University of Madras), and B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering. Over the years, she has served in key roles including Professor & Head, Dean–R&D, Dean–Publications, and Pro Vice Chancellor, contributing significantly to academic growth and research development. As Vice Chancellor, she has led major transformations aligned with NEP 2020, strengthened global collaborations, and enhanced institutional rankings. She has secured over ₹12 crores in funded projects from agencies like DST, AICTE, ISRO, MoE, and the European Union, and played a key role in establishing Centres of Excellence and innovation ecosystems. Dr. Sasipraba has over 150 publications in reputed international journals and has contributed to emerging fields such as AI, machine learning, and environmental monitoring. A recipient of multiple awards, she is also an IEEE Senior Member, NAAC Assessor, and AICTE Margdarshak.
